Founded in 2013 by Spandana Gopal, Tiipoi is a London based design studio and brand that offer home accessories. It was founded on the thinking that there is more to Indian design than just sticking an elephant on something, and that Indian craft has more to offer than simply repeating the past.
Inspired by ‘Jamakkalams’, the colourful graphic floor coverings from the southern Indian town of Bhavani, this JAMAKHAN CROSS handwoven cotton cushion is Tiipoi's contemporary take on the original and comes in navy and grey with a terracotta line. Woven from high-grade Erode cotton yarn then carefully hand-dyed the old-fashioned way: handwoven cushion is long-lasting and fade-proof.
