For the 58th issue of Posterzine® they chat with Lynnie Z covering all things including annoying the neighbours from her studio, her obsession with faces and finding her flow. The artist’s female characters gaze out flirtatiously, poised among patterns, bold geometric shapes, and tropical plants.
Her mother – who is also an artist – grew up in Tanzania, and Lynnie Z’s childhood trips to the continent are a clear influence in her work.
During her career so far Lynnie Z has designed a summer collection for Monki, had a solo exhibition at Shoreditch’s BookClub, and created huge, vibrant sculptures as part of an on-going collaboration with water bottle brand Arto LIFEWTR.
